Our Favorite Bryce Canyon Hikes

Nestled near the majestic Bryce Canyon National Park, Ruby’s Inn is the perfect starting point for adventurers looking to explore the natural wonders of the area. With over 100 years in the area, we at Ruby’s Inn are excited to guide you through some of the most fun and unforgettable  Bryce Canyon Hikes.

Navajo Loop Trail

The Navajo Loop is arguably the most popular trail in Bryce Canyon and for good reason. This 1.3-mile loop offers a moderately challenging hike that dives into the heart of the park’s famous amphitheater. Descend into a world of towering hoodoos and natural sculptures; highlights include Thor’s Hammer and Two Bridges. This trail is perfect for those who want a quick yet immersive experience in the canyon.

Fairyland Loop Trail

For a longer and more secluded adventure, the Fairyland Loop is a fantastic choice. This 8-mile trail offers breathtaking views with fewer crowds, allowing you to take in the serene beauty at a leisurely pace. The hike provides a splendid array of colors and rock formations, making it a magical journey through some of Bryce Canyon’s most picturesque landscapes.

Peek-A-Boo Loop Trail

Located in the heart of Bryce Canyon, the Peek-A-Boo Loop is a strenuous 5-mile trail that takes hikers on an exhilarating journey through extraordinary rock formations and stunning vistas. It’s a great option for those looking for a more physically demanding experience. The trail offers unique perspectives of the canyon, and you may even spot some of the park’s native wildlife along the way!

Rim Trail

If you’re looking for a less strenuous option that still offers spectacular views, the Rim Trail is perfect. Stretching for about 11 miles along the edge of the amphitheater, this trail can be accessed at any point, making it easy to customize the length of your hike. It’s accessible and provides endless panoramic views of the park’s most famous hoodoos and spires without having to descend into the canyon.

Mossy Cave Trail

For families or those interested in a short, easy hike, the Mossy Cave Trail offers a unique experience in a less-visited part of the park. This 0.8-mile hike leads to a mossy overhang and a small waterfall, a pleasant surprise in the arid landscape. It’s an excellent option for a hot day, with water features and plenty of shade!
